The Springfield Township Spartans (Erdenheim, PA) football defeated the host Harriton Rams (Rosemont, PA), 26-6 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Hatboro-Horsham Hatters (Horsham, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 8. Springfield Township will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Hatters enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 41-40 non-league loss to Wissahickon (Ambler, PA).
The Rams (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Pottstown (Pottstown, PA). The Trojans enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Pottstown was outscored by Interboro (Prospect Park, PA), 21-12, in a non-league contest.
