North Carolina High School Football - Southwest Guilford smashes High Point Central

September 1, 2023: High Point, NC 27262

The Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) football routed the host High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), 34-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cowboys face the Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A bout, on Friday, September 15. Southwest Guilford will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 0-3 record after their 40-6 non-league loss to Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC).

The Bison (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Dudley (Greensboro, NC). The Panthers enter the Mid-State 3A bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Dudley walloped Hillside (Durham, NC), 54-8, in a non-league bout.
