Missouri High School Football - Highland knocks off Scotland County

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Highland Cougars (Ewing, MO) and the visiting Scotland County Tigers (Memphis, MO), observed Highland's football squad thwart Scotland County by a tally of 14-6.

The Cougars now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Monroe City for a Clarence Cannon contest on Friday, September 8. Highland will play a Panthers squad coming off a 44-34 non-league win over Montgomery County (Montgomery City, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 2-0.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Fayette Falcons (Fayette, MO) in a Lewis & Clark contest, on Friday, September 8. Scotland County will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 55-6 non-league loss to Houston (Houston, MO).
