In Friday's non-league game, the Kailua Surfriders (Kailua, HI) football team were victorious over the visiting Kaimuki Bulldogs (Honolulu, HI), by a score of 38-12.

The Surfriders (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Wai'anae (Wai'anae, HI). The Seariders come into the OIA I game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Wai'anae was knocked off by Kamehameha Kapalama (Honolulu, HI), 27-15, in a non-league game.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kalaheo for a OIA II game on Friday, September 8. Kaimuki will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 28-7 league win over McKinley (Honolulu, HI). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-1.
