The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Kimball Longhorns (Kimball, NE) and the visiting Leyton Warriors (Dalton, NE), observed Kimball's football squad defeat Leyton by a count of 40-10.

The Longhorns now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host St. Patrick's for a non-league contest on Friday, September 8. Kimball will encounter a Irish squad coming off a 36-32 non-league win over Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] (Eustis, NE). The Irish record now stands at 3-0.
