The Leetonia Bears football team (Leetonia, OH), was tipped 26-20 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Strasburg-Franklin Tigers (Strasburg, OH)

The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Conotton Valley (Bowerston, OH). The Rockets come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Conotton Valley was edged by Newcomerstown (Newcomerstown, OH), 52-20, in a non-league outing.

With the loss, Leetonia moves to 0-3 on the season. The Bears host Valley Christian (Youngstown, OH) to confront the Eagles in a Eastern Ohio outing on Friday, September 8. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 1-2. Valley Christian lost 26-12 in their recent non-league outing against Brookfield (Brookfield, OH)
