The Logan Longhorns football team (Logan, NM), was beaten 24-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Menaul Panthers (Albuquerque, NM)

The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM). The SonBlazers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Mesilla Valley Christian School was beaten by Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM), 66-12, in a non-league challenge.

The Longhorns now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Magdalena for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 8. Logan will meet a Steers team coming off a 54-0 non-league loss to Melrose (Melrose, NM). The Steers record now stands at 1-2.
