Pennsylvania High School Football - Ringgold drops to McGuffey

In Friday's non-league game, the McGuffey Highlanders (Claysville, PA) football team knocked off the host Ringgold Rams (Monongahela, PA), by a score of 48-22.

The Highlanders (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA). The Vikings come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Mt. Pleasant toppled Yough (Herminie, PA), 27-13, in a non-league game.

The Rams now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Allegheny for a non-league game on Friday, September 8. Ringgold will battle a Indians team coming off a 31-14 non-league loss to South Fayette (McDonald, PA). The Indians record now stands at 1-1.
