In Friday's non-league game, the W.S. Neal Eagles (East Brewton, AL) football team smashed the host McIntosh Demons (McIntosh, AL), by a score of 53-6.
The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Mobile Christian (Mobile, AL). The Leopards come into the 3A Region 1 game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Mobile Christian overwhelmed Munroe (Quincy, FL), 31-0, in a non-league game.
The Demons now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Leroy for a 1A Region 1 game on Friday, September 8. McIntosh will battle a Bears team coming off a 26-13 non-league win over Clarke County (Grove Hill, AL). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.
