Pennsylvania High School Football - Towanda topped by Milton

The Towanda Black Knights football team (Towanda, PA), was beaten 27-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Milton Black Panthers (Milton, PA)

The Black Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Midd-West (Middleburg, PA). The Mustangs come into the Heartland III challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Midd-West was beaten by Halifax (Halifax, PA), 40-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Black Knights now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Northwest Area for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 8. Towanda will meet a Rangers team coming off a 40-8 league win over Columbia Montour Vo-Tech (Bloomsburg, PA). The Rangers record now stands at 1-1.
