The Minden Whippets football squad scored 33 points and restricted the visiting St. Paul Wildcats to 0 in the Whippets non-league victory on Friday.

The Whippets now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kearney Catholic for a non-league battle on Friday, September 8. Minden will face a Stars squad coming off a 45-7 non-league win over Hershey (Hershey, NE). The Stars record now stands at 2-0.
