Idaho High School Football - Mountain Crest nips Minico

September 1, 2023: Rupert, ID 83350

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Mountain Crest Mustangs football squad scored a close 19-18 victory over the Minico Spartans.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Green Canyon Wolves (North Logan, UT) in a 4A Region 11 match, on Friday, September 8. Mountain Crest will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Wolves enter the match with a 4-0 record after their 15-14 non-league win over Morgan (Morgan, UT).

The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Mountain Home (Mountain Home, ID). The Tigers enter the 4A Great Basin - West match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Mountain Home was nudged by Buhl (Buhl, ID), 39-14, in a non-league match.
