The Moberly Spartans football squad scored 21 points and restricted the host Osage Indians to 14 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.
The Spartans now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Winfield for a non-league battle on Friday, September 8. Moberly will play a Warriors squad coming off a 38-18 non-league win over Mark Twain (Center, MO). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
Coming up next, the Indians play the Blair Oaks Falcons (Jefferson City, MO) in a Tri-County battle, on Friday, September 8. Osage will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 38-30 non-league loss to Lutheran North (St. Louis, MO).
