The Mona Shores Sailors football team (Norton Shores, MI), was knocked off 31-8 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Rockford Rams (Rockford, MI)
The Rams (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Jenison (Jenison, MI). The Wildcats come into the Ottawa-Kent - Red challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Jenison was knocked off by Forest Hills Northern (Grand Rapids, MI), 21-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Sailors now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Reeths-Puffer for a Ottawa-Kent - Green challenge on Friday, September 8. Mona Shores will meet a Rockets team coming off a 34-18 non-league win over Farmington (Farmington, MI). The Rockets record now stands at 2-0.
