The Walnut Ridge Scots football team (Columbus, OH), was ripped 43-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host New Albany Eagles (New Albany, OH)

The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lancaster (Lancaster, OH). The Golden Gales come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Lancaster was ripped by Canal Winchester (Canal Winchester, OH), 40-6, in a non-league challenge.

The Scots now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Africentric Early College for a Columbus City - South challenge on Friday, September 8. Walnut Ridge will meet a Nubians team coming off a 12-2 non-league win over KIPP Columbus (Columbus, OH). The Nubians record now stands at 2-1.
