In Friday's non-league game, the Oxford Chargers (Oxford, MS) football team knocked off the host South Panola Tigers (Batesville, MS), by a score of 31-14.

The Chargers (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Grenada (Grenada, MS). The Chargers come into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Grenada was knocked off by Winona (Winona, MS), 32-26, in a non-league game.
