Ohio High School Football - Piketon prevails Valley

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Piketon Redstreaks (Piketon, OH) and the host Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH), observed Piketon's football squad defeat Valley by a count of 42-14.

The Redstreaks now own a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Westfall for a Scioto Valley contest on Saturday, September 2. Piketon will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 48-36 non-league win over Circleville (Circleville, OH). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Indians encounter the Waverly Tigers (Waverly, OH) in a Southern Ohio II contest, on Friday, September 8. Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 28-14 non-league win over Unioto (Chillicothe, OH).
