In Friday's non-league match, the host Plainview Indians football squad scored a big 48-7 victory over the Pilot Point Bearcats.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Newcastle Racers (Newcastle, OK) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 8. Plainview will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Racers enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 34-14 non-league win over Weatherford (Weatherford, OK).

The Bearcats (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Farmersville (Farmersville, TX). The Farmers enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Farmersville routed Molina (Dallas, TX), 49-14, in a non-league match.
