The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Winston Eagles (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Prairie Lea Indians (Prairie Lea, TX), observed Winston's football squad thwart Prairie Lea by a count of 45-25.

The Eagles now own a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Arlington Heights Christian for a TAIAO Division 3 (6 Man) contest on Friday, September 8. Winston will play a Lions squad coming off a 49-13 non-league win over Victoria Gators HomeSchool (Victoria, TX). The Lions record now stands at 2-0.
