    The Prestonwood Christian Lions football squad scored 21 points and restricted the visiting Second Baptist Eagles to 17 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.

    The Lions now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Little Elm for a non-league battle on Friday, September 8. Prestonwood Christian will play a Lobos squad coming off a 48-13 non-league loss to V.R. Eaton (Fort Worth, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 0-2.

    Coming up next, the Eagles play the Episcopal Knights (Bellaire, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 8. Second Baptist will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 27-20 non-league win over Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX).
