The Princeton Panthers football team (Princeton, TX), was beaten 36-28 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX)

The Bearcats (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Centennial (Frisco, TX). The Titans come into the 5A-1 Region II District 6 challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Centennial was beaten by Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX), 41-3, in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Dallas for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 8. Princeton will meet a Falcons team coming off a 41-3 non-league win over Centennial (Frisco, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 2-0.
