Arizona High School Football - Pueblo tipped by Vista Grande

The Pueblo Warriors football team (Tucson, AZ), was tipped 14-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Vista Grande Spartans (Casa Grande, AZ)

The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Crismon (Queen Creek, AZ). The Rattlers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Crismon was tipped by Sabino (Tucson, AZ), 53-20, in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cholla for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 8. Pueblo will meet a Chargers team coming off a 21-8 non-league win over Maryvale (Phoenix, AZ). The Chargers record now stands at 2-0.

Congratulations to #11 Angel Chaydez (overall and defensive), #21 Fernando Moya (offensive) and #5 Teyon Green (special teams) for being selected the Vista Grande Football Players of the Game.
