    In Friday's non-league match, the host Red Oak Hawks football squad scored a good 28-0 victory over the Seguin Cougars.

    In their next game, the Hawks clash with the Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) in a 5A-1 Region I District 4 match, on Thursday, September 7. Red Oak will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.
