The Douglas Tigers football team (Minden, NV), was beaten 28-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV)

The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Truckee was beaten by Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV), 12-7, in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Damonte Ranch for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 7. Douglas will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 12-7 non-league win over Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-1.
