The Vanden Vikings football team (Fairfield, CA), was ripped 36-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Vista del Lago Eagles (Folsom, CA)

The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Placer (Auburn, CA). The Hillmen come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Placer was ripped by Del Oro (Loomis, CA), 35-14, in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Freedom for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 8. Vanden will meet a Falcons team coming off a 51-6 non-league loss to El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-2.
