In Friday's non-league contest, the Vista Ridge Wolves (Colorado Springs, CO) softball team overwhelmed the host Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO), by a margin of 16-5.
With the triumph, Vista Ridge moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Wolves travel to Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO) to play the Trojans in a contest on Tuesday, September 5. The Trojans come into the contest with a record of 1-3. Fountain-Fort Carson lost 13-6 in their recent non-league contest against Falcon (Falcon, CO)
In their next game, the Kadets play the Lewis-Palmer Rangers (Monument, CO) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 7. Air Academy will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record.
