The Woodland Cougars softball team (Fairfax, OK), was routed 5-2 in Friday's non-league test with the host Blackwell Maroons (Blackwell, OK)

Coming up next, the Maroons encounter the Alva Goldbugs (Alva, OK) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 2. Blackwell will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Goldbugs come into the test with a 11-8 record after their 13-0 non-league win over Mulhall-Orlando (Orlando, OK).

The Cougars (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Okarche (Okarche, OK). The Warriors come into the Class A test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, Okarche was routed by Alva (Alva, OK), 8-1, in a non-league test.
