The Cyril Pirates routed the visiting Rush Springs Redskins softball squad by a count of 9-1 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Pirates (16-3) will now prepare for their battle against Apache (Apache, OK). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, Apache topped Ninnekah (Ninnekah, OK), 15-0, in a non-league battle.

The Redskins now sport a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to Ninnekah for a Class A battle on Tuesday, September 5.
