Colorado High School Softball - Riverdale Ridge bounces Palmer Ridge

September 1, 2023: Thornton, CO 80602

The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Riverdale Ridge Ravens (Thornton, CO) and the visiting Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO), saw Riverdale Ridge's softball squad achieve victory over Palmer Ridge by a count of 13-1.

The Ravens now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Frederick for a 4A Longs Peak match on Tuesday, September 5. Riverdale Ridge will face a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Mountain View (Loveland, CO). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, Palmer Ridge falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Bears travel to University (Greeley, CO) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, September 2. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 8-2. University lost 13-3 in their recent non-league match against Erie (Erie, CO)
