In Friday's non-league contest, the Buena Colts (Sierra Vista, AZ) volleyball squad were winner over the host Amphitheater Panthers (Tucson, AZ), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Colts battle the Benson Bobcats (Benson, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 1. Buena will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.

With the loss, Amphitheater moves to 0-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Pueblo (Tucson, AZ) to battle the Warriors in a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 13. The Warriors go into the contest with a record of 1-4.
