The Bassett Olympians topped the visiting Covina Colts volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Friday's non-league test.
The Olympians now have a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Baldwin Park for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5. Bassett will confront a Braves team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Mountain View (El Monte, CA). The Braves record now stands at 0-7.
The Colts (5-7) will now prepare for their test against El Monte (El Monte, CA). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, El Monte gained a win over Arroyo (El Monte, CA), 3-1, in a league test.
