In Friday's non-league contest, the Bishop Gorman Gaels (Las Vegas, NV) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Mount Paran Christian Eagles (Kennesaw, GA), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Gaels face the St. Henry Crusaders (Erlanger, KY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 1. Bishop Gorman will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Crusaders go into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Holy Cross (Covington, KY).
