The University Trojans (Waco, TX) volleyball were winner over the host Bowie Volunteers (Arlington, TX), 3-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, University betters its record to 2-10 on the year. The Trojans travel to Everman (Everman, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 11-13. Everman won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX)

The Volunteers now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Paris for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. Bowie will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-8.
