Texas High School Volleyball - Cleburne overwhelmed by Granbury

In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Granbury Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Cleburne Yellowjackets.

The Pirates (9-17) will now prepare for their battle against San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX). The Bobcats come into the non-league battle with a 22-6 record. In their last battle, San Angelo Central defeated Monterey (Lubbock, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Yellowjackets encounter the Joshua Owls (Joshua, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 battle, on Tuesday, September 5. Cleburne will attempt to improve on its 9-14 season record. The Owls enter the test with a 15-12 record after their 3-0 league win over Seguin (Arlington, TX).
