Texas High School Volleyball - Community edged by Edgewood

The Edgewood Bulldogs held off the host Community Braves volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs now have a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bullard for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5. Edgewood will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Tyler (Tyler, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 11-13.

The Braves (12-12) will now prepare for their test against Longview (Longview, TX). The Lobos enter the non-league test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Longview held off Poteet (Mesquite, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
