In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Sunset Apollos volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Glencoe Crimson Tide.
The Apollos (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Mountainside (Beaverton, OR). The Mavericks come into the 6A Metro battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Mountainside achieved victory over Newberg (Newberg, OR), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Crimson Tide encounter the Forest Grove Vikings (Forest Grove, OR) in a 6A Pacific battle, on Tuesday, September 5. Glencoe will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Jesuit (Portland, OR).
