The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Tarkington Longhorns (Cleveland, TX) and the host Memphis East Mustangs (Memphis, TN), saw Tarkington's volleyball squad beat Memphis East by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Tarkington upgrades its record to 9-12 on the year. The Longhorns travel to Odyssey Charter School (Palm Bay, FL) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Odyssey Charter School lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Sagemont (Weston, FL)

The Mustangs now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Ripley for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5.
