The Sage Hill Lightning volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Segerstrom Jaguars to 1 in the Lightning non-league victory on Friday.

The Lightning now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Dorado for a non-league game on Saturday, September 2. Sage Hill will confront a Golden Hawks team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Sonora (La Habra, CA). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 1-1.

The Jaguars (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Samueli Academy (Santa Ana, CA). The Firewolves enter the non-league game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Samueli Academy dropped by Oxford Academy (Cypress, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
