The Utica Chieftains (Utica, MI) volleyball overcame the host Yale Bulldogs (Yale, MI), 2-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Utica betters its record to 13-12 on the year. The Chieftains travel to Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI) to face the Huskies in a non-league outing on Friday, September 1. The Huskies go into the outing with a record of 0-2. Port Huron Northern lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Lutheran North (Macomb, MI)

The Bulldogs now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Croswell-Lexington for a non-league outing on Friday, September 1. Yale will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over North Huron (Kinde, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 14-1.
