Oklahoma High School Softball - Empire bounces Rush Springs

The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Empire Bulldogs (Duncan, OK) and the host Rush Springs Redskins (Rush Springs, OK), saw Empire's softball squad topple Rush Springs by a score of 9-1.

With the triumph, Empire improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Comanche (Comanche, OK) to face the Indians in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 9. The Indians enter the contest with a record of 6-7.

The Redskins now hold a 13-2 record. They play next when they travel to Alex for a non-league contest on Monday, September 8. Rush Springs will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Moss (Holdenville, OK). The Longhorns record now stands at 0-6.
