The Shaler Area Titans football team (Pittsburgh, PA), was tipped 41-38 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Hampton Talbots (Allison Park, PA)
The Talbots (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Armstrong (Kittanning, PA). The River Hawks come into the WPIAL AAAA Greater Allegheny challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Armstrong was tipped by McKeesport (McKeesport, PA), 24-14, in a non-league challenge.
The Titans now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Allegheny for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 17. Shaler Area will meet a Indians team coming off a 38-13 non-league win over Montour (McKees Rocks, PA). The Indians record now stands at 2-0.
