The Montrose Meteors football team (Montrose, PA), was ripped 44-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Mid Valley Spartans (Throop, PA)

The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Invaders come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, West Scranton was ripped by Scranton (Scranton, PA), 35-7, in a non-league challenge.

The Meteors now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holy Redeemer for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 18. Montrose will meet a Royals team coming off a 35-12 non-league loss to Milton (Milton, PA). The Royals record now stands at 0-3.
