Georgia High School Softball - Grovetown bounces Academy of Richmond County

Grovetown Warriors (Grovetown, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA), 12-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Georgia Military College for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 11. Grovetown will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Jefferson County (Louisville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Academy of Richmond County falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Musketeers travel to Lakeside (Evans, GA) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 10. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 4-8. Lakeside won 8-6 in their recent league challenge against Alcovy (Covington, GA)
