The Lanier County Bulldogs softball team (Lakeland, GA), was routed 7-0 in Friday's non-league test with the visiting Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA)

Coming up next, the Bulldogs encounter the Jeff Davis Yellowjackets (Hazlehurst, GA) in a AA Region 2 test, on Tuesday, September 14. Toombs County will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the test with a 12-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Pierce County (Blackshear, GA).

The Bulldogs (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Brooks County (Quitman, GA). The Trojans enter the A Public Region 2 test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Brooks County was routed by Cook (Adel, GA), 20-0, in a non-league test.
