In Saturday's non-league game, the Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors (Lanham, MD) football team smashed the host Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA), by a score of 32-0.
The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD). The Cardinals come into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Calvert Hall was ripped by Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN), 35-0, in a non-league game.
The Knights now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to John Carroll for a non-league game on Friday, September 16. Bishop O'Connell will meet a Patriots team coming off a 21-14 non-league loss to Pallotti (Laurel, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 1-1.
