In Saturday's league game, the Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME) football team tipped the visiting Westbrook Blue Blazes (Westbrook, ME), by a final score of 36-34.
The Stags (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME). The Raiders come into the C South game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Fryeburg got by Lisbon/St. Dominic (Lisbon Falls, ME), 24-8, in a non-league game.
