Maryland High School Football - Largo overwhelms Crossland

The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD) and the visiting Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD), observed Largo's football squad bounce Crossland by a tally of 40-0.

The Lions now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Douglass for a Prince George's County 2A/1A contest on Saturday, September 17. Largo will play a Eagles squad coming off a 50-0 league win over Friendly (Fort Washington, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.

Coming up next, the Cavaliers play the Northeast Eagles (Pasadena, MD) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 16. Crossland will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 15-9 non-league loss to South Carroll (Sykesville, MD).
