The Erie Royals football team (Erie, PA), was ripped 42-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Lake Catholic Cougars (Mentor, OH)
The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Bombers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Kenston trounced North (Eastlake, OH), 31-28, in a league challenge.
The Royals now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to McDowell for a District 10 Region 6 challenge on Friday, September 16. Erie will meet a Trojans team coming off a 29-18 non-league loss to North Allegheny (Wexford, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-1.
