Maine High School Football - Hampden drops to Nokomis

In Saturday's league game, the Nokomis Warriors (Newport, ME) football team knocked off the visiting Hampden Broncos (Hampden, ME), by a score of 32-21.
The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME). The Panthers come into the C North game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Medomak Valley toppled Winslow (Winslow, ME), 40-0, in a league game.
The Broncos now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maine Central Institute for a C North game on Friday, September 16. Hampden will battle a Huskies team coming off a 54-14 league loss to Oceanside (Rockland, ME). The Huskies record now stands at 0-2.
