In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Northgate Flames football squad scored a close 32-26 victory over the Riverview Raiders.

In their next game, the Flames clash with the South Side Rams (Hookstown, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 16. Northgate will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 3-0 record after their 38-14 non-league win over Burgettstown (Burgettstown, PA).

The Raiders (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Clairton (Clairton, PA). The Bears enter the WPIAL A Eastern match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Clairton was nudged by Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA), 28-13, in a non-league match.
